
LOWBALL POKER RULES
Lowball is played like Five Card Draw, except in this game, the lowest
hand wins. The best hand is 5-4-3-2-1, also known as a "wheel" or
"bicycle".

The Hand

Each player has a five-card hand, with all cards dealt face down. You
may replace cards, but you do not receive more cards.
The Play

- Each player is dealt 5 face down cards.
- The first betting round proceeds at the lower betting limit.
- Each remaining player may replace from 0 (none) to five of the cards
in his/her hand. The player must decide which cards to discard before
receiving the new ones.
- The second betting round proceeds at the higher betting limit.

Action starts to the left of the big blind and proceeds clockwise.
When drawing cards, the player to the left of the Dealer Button draws
first and the draw proceeds clockwise. For the 2nd betting round, action
begins to the left of the Dealer Button and proceeds clockwise.

At the Showdown the high hand wins. Each player must use all five cards

The Joker

In a Lowball poker game there is one joker in the deck. The joker is
completely wild and can be used as the lowest card not in your hand.
